We take great care in ensuring your needs are heard. Please see our list of frequently asked questions to determine your next steps when purchasing our services.
If you do not see your question listed, do not hesitate to contact us today, and we can help determine the next best steps for you.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
We can provide same-day delivery if our schedule allows for it. During peak seasons, our schedule can fill up rather quickly. It is highly recommended that you schedule your deliveries in advance, or you can always pick up your materials on the same day.
What is the minimum amount you will deliver?
There is not a minimum quantity we will deliver. However, the trucking rate will remain the same whether you receive a full or partial load.
What is the minimum amount I can pick up?
There is no minimum quantity requirement. But, we do load with a 1-yard bucket on a backhoe and do not allow self-loading. Currently, we do not offer pre-filled buckets/bags of materials; you will need a truck or open trailer for our loader operator to load you.
View our Pickup Capacities sheet to see how much material each pickup type can haul. Please note that a yard of sand or gravel will weigh approximately 2,400 lbs.
Do you offer spreading?
Spreading is a service we can provide at no extra charge, but it is never guaranteed. Please check your area for trees or power lines; this affects the driver’s ability to dump or spread. Our drivers are excellent, trained spreaders when the dumpsite is level and accessible.
We do not offer grading or excavation services. If the area needs ground work, you will need to arrange those services separately.
How can I convert yards to tons?
1 yard is approximately 1.33 tons, but this may vary depending on the product.
Clean rocks and sands are converted by 1 yard x 1.25 tons.
What if a truck comes to deliver, and I refuse delivery?
If we arrive for delivery and you change your mind on the product or if the truck does not have ample room for the delivery, they will return to our yard. You will still be charged a delivery fee, even though no material was provided. Please confirm with us if you are concerned about a truck not having enough space, or have a backup dump spot available should we be unable to access the desired location. If you are uncertain about product choices, we have samples located in our Pit 2 office at Grove Rd.
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept cash or credit card. If you are a contractor, you have the option to set up an account for invoiced billing. If you would like to set up an account, download a credit application.
What do I need to provide to be recognized as a contractor to get contractor pricing?
We require a contractor license number, or a business card with the information we could look this up with. We will confirm within the LNI Verify a Contractor site that you have an active license.
